  Do you supply the garments?
Yes we do, and there is a huge range to choose from - why not browse our online clothing catalogue. If you have any queries or cannot find what you want, please contact us.

Can we supply our own garments?
You can supply your own garments which does incur a surcharge of:
1-10 £2.50 + VAT
11 - 30 £1.50 + VAT
30+ £1.00 + VAT

If we already have an embroidery design, are we able to use that?
Probably yes, we can use most standard embroidery formats.

Does it cost extra to have more than one colour in the design?
No it doesn't. Unlike screen printing where every colour costs money, the number of colours in embroidery makes no difference to the cost. Our machines can cope with 12 colours, but most designs have 6 or fewer colours. With transfer printing we can produce full-colour photographic type images for no extra.

How do you turn our logo into stitching?
The process is called digitising and the quality of the final embroidery rests very much on the skill of the digitiser. Using specialist software the digitiser converts the image into instructions for the embroidery machine to know where to stitch, what type of stitch to use and much more. Many people can digitise, but not all of them can digitise well. Our digitiser has been doing our work for a number of years and has received many favourable comments from customers who have previously had designs digitised elsewhere.

We've already got a logo, can we use that?
Most certainly. We need a good quality colour copy of your logo and the size you want it. Our preference is for the artwork to be in the form of a PC graphics file, e.g. JPEG, TIFF etc., although we can use a paper copy as the artwork. The more complex the design the bigger we need the image, if possible real size or larger.

If we just want some text, is there a set up charge?
Providing we can match your font to one of our existing fonts, there is no set up charge. If we can't match it, then there will be a set-up charge.

Are there any guidelines for embroidered text to look good?
The minimum size for text is 5mm high, use a simple font that doesn't have too many narrow areas. Ideally the size should be at least 8mm high and in a block font.

If we come back for more embroidery, does it have to be set up again?
No. Once the design has been set up, we store the embroidery file ready for future use. You only pay for the actually embroidery to be done.

Is there a discount for bigger orders?
Yes there is, but less so in embroidery than in printing. Please ask for details when discussing your order.

Is embroidery always the best option?
No, although embroidery has an appearance and longevity that printing doesn't. Embroidery can cope with more colours in a design than screen printing, but printing would probably be the chosen medium for large single colour designs, say on the back of give away T shirts, in large numbers. Photographic images will need to be reproduced by transfer printing rather than embroidery. If we don't think embroidery is the right option for your job, we will tell you.

  How flexible is the service?
By having a variety of the latest technology embroidery and printing machines we know that we have the flexibility to deal with a wide range of jobs, not just in terms of numbers, but also in the type of work, particularly some of the more unusual work like golf bags and horse blankets.
